WFMW-Having a loving husband...

...who gives massages on demand.

Need I say more?

Actually, to quote Blazing Saddles
, "I must, I must." It's important to nurture a loving relationship with one's spouse in which there's nothing unusual about touch. In the absence of touch, I find, it's too easy to allow resentments to flourish. I bury myself in my own mind, and my negative thoughts fester.

When my husband and I touch frequently (and I don't mean sexually, although that's nice too), it forces us out of our shells and allows us to appreciate each other. We can relax with each other, because touch creates a physical reminder of our oneness.

And knowing that my husband appreciates the work I do, recognizes that it can be difficult and stressful, and prioritizes relieving that stress, is incredibly moving.
