WFMW-Free tv online

Here in Israel we're enjoying (and I mean enjoying) a year without a television. However, we have a couple shows we really enjoy. So we've been experimenting in the world of online television. Unfortunately, a lot of sources will only work within the US (Hulu and PBS, for example), so making this work has been complicated. There are also shows that we enjoyed at one point, but are no longer on the air, and those can be difficult to find online.

Well, problem solved. I've been watching my favorite shows on Project Free TV. They have complete series of older shows (from Star Trek, to Get Smart, to Bewitched) as well as current ones with the newest episodes (NCIS being my favorite). My guess is that these shows are all pirated, but I have no idea, and, frankly, my dear, I don't give a darn. The best part is the absence of commercial breaks!

To be fair, though, the website advertising does change by location, and where I am, the advertising is less than child appropriate (some include Russian bride websites, while others are innocuous). If I were to use this website to show something to a child, I would let it load and then get it started on full screen mode before placing my child in front of the screen, but I think that's a pretty small drawback.

When we get back to the States, we will not be paying for cable. Anything we want to watch, we can see online through a variety of sites (especially in the US), so we'll just hook up the TV to the computer and pocket the savings!
