WFMW-bread crumbs

This is an addendum to a wonderful tip over at Tammy's Recipes.

In addition to saving little pieces of stale bread, I scrape crumbs out of baking dishes after I remove bread and the like from the dish, and I save the bread crumbs off the cutting board when I slice bread. It's amazing how quickly crumbs accumulate if you save the ones from the board and the dishes! And the ones out of the baking dishes are pre-buttered, so you don't have to add as much butter to them if you have a recipe that calls for a streusel on top. It also makes the post-baking dishes much easier to clean!

If I have a lot of sweet baked goods, I keep separate bags for sweet and savory bread crumbs; but a little sweet doesn't hurt on top of tuna casserole or macaroni and cheese.
