WFMW: Cheater Tuna Casserole

I admit it. Sometimes I make macaroni and cheese out of a box. There. I said it. It does taste good, though, and my husband could live on the stuff. But...those boxes really don't go far. So I keep a couple on hand, and when I'm short on time or creativity I pull out a box and make cheater tuna casserole for dinner.

1 box mac+cheese (and ingredients to follow directions on box)
1 can tuna packed in water, drained
1 onion, diced
bread crumbs (optional)

1. Chop the onion and add it to the water you're boiling to make the pasta.
2. With the addition of the onion, prepare the mac+cheese according to directions on the box.
3. When you're stirring it all together, add the tuna

4. (optional) If you're feeling fancy, pour the finished casserole from the pot into an oven-proof dish, top with bread crumbs, and heat (uncovered) at 350 degrees until the bread crumbs are toasted.

Doesn't get much more brainless than that, and I usually prepare a salad to go with it while the pasta is boiling.
