- Primarily I use them to make mulled cider (rinds of 2 oranges per 1 quart of juice, plus cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom to taste).
- The rinds that have been simmered in apple juice are perfect for baking. I recently chopped up some leftover rinds and added them to this pumpkin bread. It was delicious!
- In the next week or two, I plan to make candied orange peels.
- I've also read that you can dry them and grind them up to add to your coffee or tea or use the grounds in lieu of zest! (Sorry, I don't remember the source!)

I keep a produce bag in my freezer for orange peels.
