35 Weeks

Has it really been three weeks since my last post?!

After some drama at home (nothing bad) all is well and Internet access is more or less assured.

We've been busy, and we're all excited to be entering the home stretch of this pregnancy. My last midwife appointment went well, and this baby is actually measuring a little small! Something I never thought would be said of a child of mine! We'll see if that holds, or he'll make up for lost time in the coming weeks. In the mean time, it means my little guy still has plenty of room to flip around, and has yet to settle into the appropriate position for his "final descent".

Everything else is going very well. I get sore and tired, but who doesn't at this point? No prelabor yet, and I'm taking catnip to stave it off. The Bat asks about the new baby frequently, and the Eel is newly obsessed with helping. Dh's new job is going well, and we are quickly getting our finances in order. Life is good.

And with regards to my previous post, I did get the Bat's kindergarten curriculum out, and he can't wait to start! I think he'll have a lot of fun with it when we start at the end of next month.
